The Beginning

Jason and I (Carla) are completely new to blogging. To be honest, I'll probably do most of the writing, but I'm sure Jason will give insight to what is being written.

Blogging= modern day diary.  I think it will be neat to look back on these posts several years from now and see what things have changed and how our lives will have been affected by all of the changes and experiences that we will have gone through.


How Jason and I met:
We met at our church, Harpeth Heights Baptist Church, in the spring of 2009. He says he saw me singing in the choir, and thereafter, joined the choir and Singles Sunday School class to try and get to know me better. After his attempts of Facebook stalking me, I relented and agreed to go on a date with him. Our first date was May 15, 2009. We went to the IMAX theater in the Opryland Mall and watched Star Trek and ate a TGIFridays afterwards. On May 22, 2009 he asked me to "be his girl." We've been inseparable ever since.

Our New Beginning:
Jason and I were married on September 3, 2011. I was a beautiful, happy day. I'll be sure to post some of our favorite pictures soon! To date, we've been married three months and 3 weeks. I look forward to many more years!!
